Wonderful timing...

Just in time for the pug adoption event I'm running today:

My period hasn't started yet, but it's definitely coming. My temp always seems to go down to 97.3 the day it starts.

I just have to put on a big smile and forget about all of this until after the event. I can do that.

  1. You know I hate you drag another person into the issues and drugs I am {now} taking but a 11 day Luteal phase is sort of the low side, should be at about 12 to 16... Have you read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility? - My Dr who is not an RE, she is just a Women's OB that specializes in fertility told me that my Luteal phase was weak, and I was always 11 dpo to 12, sometimes 10.... You need to maintain levels of progesterone that is what I lack... I'm sorry you got your period. But I would look into seeing if there is something going on that is preventing you from getting pregnant.... Seems like you are doing everything right - Also don't be afraid to BD every night around O.... It's worth a shot!

    1. Hi Ali, my LP was 12 days. It's usually 13 but occasionally 12. I asked my OB about it when I had my testing done and she said it's fine, and that progesterone levels vary each cycle. We BD as often as we can around O time, my hubby's SA came back great so that's not a concern :) My OB really couldn't find any reason whatsoever for me not getting pregnant, and even she said we're doing everything right. It's so frustrating!

  2. I know, it was just a thought, that's why I'm taking clomid to lengthen my Luteal phase... But My testing just all came back NORMAL from last month and I'm in perfect health, so is Hubs.... What gives! Come one ovaries....

    1. I know, it doesn't make any sense, does it?! I'm thinking about calling the fertility specialist just to find out if they have a waiting list for new patients, and how much it's going to cost us if we go for a consultation... If a specialist told me to take clomid then I'd be more inclined to. My OB said she would prescribe it for 3 months if I wanted it, but I don't know if she'd do any monitoring and I'm worried about screwing my cycles up even more if I take it and it doesn't work...
